1961 Topps Flocked Stickers New Set Break

Topps inserted these 48 sticker inserts in a wax pack of their 1961 Topps regular football issue. The team emblems are unnumbered and include sixteen NFL teams, nine AFL teams and 24 college logos. The stickers were each found with two letters on the tab - though it was never clear to the kids of the day exactly what the letters signified. This Topps insert is very difficult to find.

1962 Topps FB Bucks New Set Break

Topps inserted these popular dollar bill facsimiles in their 1962 football wax packs. The design features a player in the bill's center, with some player info filling where typically currency printing usually appears. The set is very condition sensitive and seldom found in top grade

1967 Topps FB Crazy Pennants

The 31 card, standard size stickers were issued one per pack in wax and cello packs of the regular 1967 football issue. The set was probably discontinued before the end of the season because they featured juvenile and sometimes cruel humor, accounting for their significant scarcity today. The set comes in two varieties - the original design was similar to the 1967 Wacky Ads which meant you were to wet the back of the card to affix it. That proved too difficult for sports cards collectors and the subsequent issue had the pennant as a removable sticker. The former version has NO PRINTING about how to peel the sticker and are much scarcer.

1968 Topps FB Pin Ups

Topps produced a set of 16 insert Pin-Ups for its 1968 set nearly identical in format to the baseball pin-ups of the previous year. Complete at 16 posters, the set makes up for its brevity with its star power. With its sharp photos, the 1968 Poster set is very popular with collectors.

1968 Topps FB Stand Up

Topps issued this set of 22 card unnumbered football Stand Ups in 1968. As with the 1964 Baseball stand-up issue, the cards were designed to be puched out and folded in order to make them stand - making examples in top condition difficult to find. Despite its size, the card features only a few of the game's top stars, notably Joe Namath, Don Meredith, Sonny Jurgensen and John Brodie. A real toughie!

1969 Topps FB 4-1 Stamps

The 1969 Topps Four-In-One Set contained 66 four-player adhesive backed color cards. The cards were standard sized, whereas the individual mini-cards were approx. 1" by 1 1/2". These small cards were designed to be seperated and then stuck into small team booklets. Both the stamps and the booklets were available in wax packs, and as they were designed to be mishandled, are tough in nice condition. Stamps include all the stars of the day including Namath, Unitas, Sayers and the only 1969 card of Jack Kemp.

1969 Topps FB 4-1 Booklets

1970 Topps FB Supers

This 35 card set was issued three-per-pack with a stick of gum. Nearly identical in style to the 1970 Baseball Super issue, the cards were issued on thick stock cardboard with replications of the front and back of the 1970 regular football issue. The final seven cards in the set were short printed, including the key Joe Namath.

1970 Glossy Football

The 1970 Super Glossy cards were found in second series wax packs of the regular 1970 football issue. Extremely attractive in design, these collector favorites are very condition sensitive and are frequently found off-center left-to-right. Unlike the other "Super" issues in 1970 football and baseball, these supers were printed on think stock with glossy photos more in line with the 1969 Topps baseball super issue. Joe Namath and OJ Simpson are the two keys for the set.

1970 Topps FB Posters

This 24 poster set was inserted in first series wax and cello packs in 1970. Though the set featured many of the top names, the design featured a color drawing rather than a photo - thus limiting their popularity with collectors.

1971 Topps FB Pin-Ups

Topps inserted these colorful pin-ups in the second series wax packs of its 1971 Football issue. The posters are similar in size to previous poster inserts, but unlike the 1970 poster insert, these posters feature actual photos of the players rather than drawings.

1971 Topps FB Game New Set Break

The 1971 Football game cards were inserted in wax and cello packs of the 1971 regular issue football set. Similar in design to the 1968 Topps Baseball game insert, the 1971 Game is often found with significant centering problems.
